Stewardship Requires a Strategic Plan
We need a plan - scripture says that where there is no vision, the people perish
(Prov 29:18). To avoid effective strategic planning is to avoid getting the job done well. There is nothing particularly spiritual about avoiding strategic planning.
A Planned Growth Mission has as its foundation the notion that when we plan to undertake a programme with specific dates and specific responsibilities assigned to specific people, the job gets done better.
If we want to avoid the issue we can put our heads in the sand and simply spend countless hours avoiding the subject of the stewardship of money and the financial needs of the church. The problem with avoidance is that the budget of a parish simply must be funded.
Planned Giving Counsellors can help you with a strategic plan to increase giving to fund the mission and ministry of your church
