Working in partnership - a unified approach to extending the mission and ministry of the church in the community.
Planned Giving Counsellors conduct ‘Partnership Planned Growth Missions’ on behalf of two (or three) parishes that are within a reasonable distance of each other.
In a partnership programme it is important that each parish owns their programme so all meetings and special events are events are conducted separately within a given time-frame with the Thanksgiving Weekend being arranged over two the last two weekends of a period of usually four weeks.
We have conducted ‘Partnership Planned Growth Missions’ on behalf parishes in Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria.
They are an effective way of reducing the overall cost of the programme and presenting a unified approach to extending the mission and ministry of the church in the community.
We are always happy to explore the possibility of a partnership programme and arranging a meeting with members of a joint committee representing participating parishes.
Such a meeting will provide answers to questions of how the programme is conducted, the cost and the likely outcome in terms of increased giving for each parish.
