Preparation Phase

The awareness module is about preparation. A Director visits the parish, meets with the Parish Council and assists in establishing the Preparation Committee. During the Awareness module three sub-committees are formed.

Vision Budget

• To prepare a challenging yet realistic goal for the program.
• Develop a Vision Budget Brochure.
• Publicize the aims and objectives of the program.

Administration and Listing

• Preparation of the parish list.
• List key parishioners to be invited to the Initial Mission Group Meeting for program visiting.
• Prepare and mail an invitation to the Thanksgiving Dinner/Function.
• Set up program office.

Thanksgiving Dinner/Function Arrangements

• Decide on Thanksgiving Dinner or other Function.
• Arrange for suitable venue.
• Catering and menu.
• Child care.

Preparation is an important part of getting ready for a successful program.
